II Corinthians 12:16: But be that [as it may], I did not burden you. Nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you by cunning!

Paul says that he does not use trickery.
I Thessalonians 2:3: For our exhortation did not come from error or uncleanness, nor was it in deceit.
