Which of David's son is an ancestor of Jesus?

Jesus' lineage is traced through Solomon (David's son).
Matthew 1:6-7: (6) and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her [who had been the wife] of Uriah. (7) Solomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa.

His lineage is also traced through Nathan (David's son).
Luke 3:31: ...[the son] of Melea, [the son] of Menan, [the son] of Mattathah, [the son] of Nathan, [the son] of David,...

Who is Joseph's father?

Jacob was Joseph's father.
Matthew 1:16: And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.

Heli is also listed as Joseph's father.

Did Jesus and his parents flee to Egypt?

Following Jesus' birth, the family flees to Egypt to avoid the murder of the firstborn.
Matthew 2:13-14: (13) Now when they [the wise men] had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, "Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him." The family stays in Jerusalem for about 40 days and never flees to Egypt.

Jesus would be called a Nazarene?

It was prophesied that Jesus would be called a Nazerene.

Did John the Baptizer recognize Jesus as the messiah?

After the baptism, John sends his disciples to ask if Jesus is the messiah.

Did the "Devil" take Jesus to the mountain or Temple first?

The Devil took Jesus to the Temple and then to the mountain.
Matthew 4:5, 8: (5) Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, ... (8) Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

We are saved by works, not by faith.

Faith is what provides salvation.

Who asked Jesus to heal the centurion's servant?

A centurion asked Jesus to heal his servant.

A centurion asked Jewish elders to ask Jesus to heal his servant.
Luke 7:2-3: (2) And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. (3) So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant.

Were the apostles to work with the Gentiles?

The apostles were to work amongst the Jews and not the Gentiles.
Matthew 10:5-6: (5) These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. (6) But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Will there arise someone wiser than Solomon?

Jesus states that there is one who is wiser than Solomon.

Jesus dismisses the decrees.

G-d forbids the eating of fat and blood as an eternal decree.
Leviticus 3:17: [This is] an eternal statute for all your generations, in all your dwelling places: You shall not eat any fat or any blood.

When did the transfiguration take place?

The transfiguration occurs six days after Jesus foretells his suffering.
Matthew 17:1-2: (1) Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; (2) and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

The transfiguration took place eight days afterwards.

How many times did the disciples fall asleep?

The disciples fell asleep three times.
Matthew 26:40-46: (40) Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? (41) Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The ear of the servant is cut off and remained cut.

The order of the resurrection appearances were: Peter, the twelve disciples, 500+ others, James, the apostles, then Paul.
I Corinthians 15:5-8: (5) ...and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. (6) After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. (7) After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. (8) Then last of all He was seen by me [Paul] also, as by one born out of due time.

Where did the ascension take place?

There is no mention of the ascension, but if it took place, it would have been from a mountain in Galilee.
